A tour along the Oil Press Trail at Korazim National Park, on Saturdays, September 26 and October 24, at 11:00 and 13:00. Nature, history, and views of the Sea of Galilee.
Korzim National Park tends to remain hidden from many hikers, and that is the best reason to set out and discover a special site where every step and every glance reveal fascinating historical stories.
You are invited to a tour along the “Oil Presses Trail,” which circles Korzim National Park and combines beautiful nature, scenery, and heritage. From the scenic trail, you will reach the heart of the ancient Jewish village that flourished during the Mishnaic and Talmudic periods.
Here you will find the remains of a magnificent synagogue—one of the most impressive of its kind in Israel—as well as a ritual bath, residential buildings, arched houses, and primordial landscapes embracing it all. This is the time to come, get acquainted with the site, and enjoy a beautiful view toward the Sea of Galilee, the Galilee, and the Golan Heights.
When: Saturdays, September 26 and October 24, at 11:00 and 13:00.
