Sukkot event with an archaeological dig, tours, and workshops at Korazim National Park. September 29–30, from 10:00 to 14:00.
This Sukkot, you can touch history—literally—and meet the residents of the Jewish village of Korazim, who lived in the landscape of the Sea of Galilee 2,000 years ago. How will we get to know them? And what will you find at our Sukkot fair?
At the heart of the site stands the ancient synagogue, which underwent conservation and restoration work this year. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the process up close, experience it, and witness what is being renewed.
When: Tuesday and Wednesday, September 29–30, 10:00–14:00
During Sukkot, a kosher sukkah will be placed at the site for visitors.
