About the Activity
Join us for a midweek tour designed for retirees and people with free time.
A particularly calm, guided morning tour along the park’s trails, to the banks of the restored ponds and among the bird hides.
Come see, experience, and get to know the birds, butterflies, unique plants, and much more.
In every season, we discover different birds and unique phenomena associated with it: nesting, raising offspring, and migration in a fascinating, regular cycle.
A visit to the park allows everyone, at any age, to catch a glimpse of the beauty of nature; the delicacy and complexity of natural processes; the diversity of animals in the area; and the efforts to conserve, restore, and protect them.
We will meet at the Birdwatching Park entrance hall and receive professional binoculars to use throughout the tour.
We will hear the story of the drying of the Kabara swamps and the establishment of the fishponds.
We will continue on a walking tour along the park’s trails, taking relaxed breaks in the shaded hides. We will observe a variety of birds, learn about their way of life, the phenomenon of migration, and other phenomena we encounter along the way. We will also learn about fish-farming operations and the points of interaction between human activity and birds in the area.
We will discover the changes the region has undergone over the past 100 years and their impact on the natural environment and on the restoration efforts currently underway. We will conclude with a short video.
An educational and enriching tour conducted at a relaxed, suitable pace—a glimpse into the magical world of birds and the nature surrounding them!
