Summary:
When Motti Bernstein, an Ashkenazi yeshiva student, falls in love with Nachmi Biton, a Moroccan woman, he knows this match will not be welcomed by the ultra-Orthodox community in Bnei Brak. His mother, Nachmi's mother, Malchi the matchmaker, and Baruch her loyal assistant, will do everything to prevent the engagement. But Motti is not willing to give up, and if love is blind and does not distinguish between Ashkenazis and Sephardim, then maybe he should blind himself? A romantic comedy at the seam between gefilte fish and chraimeh, based on one of the most successful films in recent years.
