- The play "What Happened in the Land of Me" by Orna Porat Theater.
**Note: The number of seats for the play is limited, and you must reserve a ticket in advance (at no cost).**
**Admission to the play is for children aged 5 and up. Younger siblings are welcome to enjoy the activity areas in the center courtyard.**
Summary of the play: King Mimul and Queen Mima, the vain and pampered, have never left their palace. They enjoy royal splendor and squander their kingdom's treasures instead of fulfilling their roles and caring for the welfare of their people, the residents of the Land of Me. With them in the palace is Kresh, their loyal, cheeky, and wise helper, who is responsible for all palace duties, which he performs diligently without pay. Due to the economic situation in the Land of Me, deteriorating into a national disaster, and due to the disdainful treatment he receives, Kresh decides to teach King and Queen of Me an important lesson. Through cunning full of humor, he manages to get their Royal Highnesses out of their palace and helps them find work suitable for their status. Outside the palace, Mimul and Mima start to get to know their people and themselves... They recognize their mistakes, try to learn from them and improve. They understand the role of a true king and queen and experience how important, exciting, and even pleasant it is to help and make others happy. The musical written by Leah Naor with wonderful compositions by Kobi Oshrat, first premiered 50 years ago, starring Chava Alberstein and Avraham Mor, and was a great success. It now gets a new, circus-like, funny, contemporary, and enjoyable adaptation.
