"The Miraculous Mandarin" is a piece for three dancers reacting to the orchestral work of Béla Bartók, translating the dramatic score into a physical experience charged with urgency, repetition, and obsession. The choreography is built on circular and conical repetitive patterns that create a sense of endless movement, obsession, tension, and internal struggle. The contrast between precise and rhythmic movement and the raw power of the music creates a world oscillating between control and collapse, between resistance and surrender. "The Miraculous Mandarin" translates Bartók's dramatic score into a physically charged experience of urgency, repetition, and emotional intensity.

Hila Nachshonov is a 25-year-old choreographer working in the fields of contemporary dance and hip hop. She created three original works within the 3|2|1 Program - The Stage for Young Creators of Suzanne Dellal, where her trio won her the title of "Outstanding Creator" and a two-month artist residency at Quartier Am Hafen in Cologne, Germany. Her works have been presented in Israel and Europe at various events and festivals, such as the Intimadance Festival 2024, for which she created "Tel Aviv Ritual." Nachshonov is a graduate of the Workshop Program for Dancers, Ga'aton, where she created the solo piece "Maybe I’m Just Another," and the Raq-Danit Dance Studio of Danit Boxbaum.

Irad Ben Gal | "Either I Feed You, or You Starve" | Premiere

**Duration of the work**: 18 minutes

A dance performance born out of the harsh reality of the past three years, dealing with hunger – both physical hunger and spiritual hunger; hunger for change. A choreographic work for four dancers inspired by the difficult reality of the past three years. Fueled by feelings of helplessness, shame, and guilt, Ben Gal chose to tackle hunger. The actual hunger that haunted him – the hunger imposed on the abducted and residents of Gaza, and the spiritual hunger – the drought, thirst, and our hunger for something different – the hunger for change.

The performance includes subtitles.

Irad Ben Gal (1993) is a dancer, choreographer, and dance film creator. For the past nine years, he has been living and creating in Sderot, where he co-manages the 'Sderot Adama' movement center. He is a graduate of the choreography and movement track at Sapir Academic College. For four years, he danced with the "Adama" dance company under the direction of Liat Dror, and then embarked on an independent path as a choreographer. His works are heavily influenced by Israeli reality and address the connection between the political and personal. He has presented on various stages and festivals in Israel and abroad.

Tamir Golan | "Inhibitions" | Premiere

**Duration of the work**: 12 minutes

Two bodies meet within a charged space of touch, resistance, and memory. Between tension and closeness, grasp, distancing, and submission, a language of changing touch is created; a language that holds on, distances, disintegrates, and reassembles. "Inhibitions" lingers in an attempt to return to what was. Not from a desire to recreate, but from a wish to linger a moment longer within what has passed and still resonates in the body.

Tamir Golan is an Israeli choreographer who creates full-length or short-format works for the stage and various institutions. In 2024, he premiered "Tomorrow’s Gone" at the Suzanne Dellal Center, and in the same year also created "Cellophane" for the National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. His works have been presented at festivals and theaters in Israel and Europe, including Milanoltre, Danza Bertha, and Angerfest in Italy, and the Holland Dance Festival, and some have even been included in international tours. Aside from his choreographic work, he has participated in international competitions, artist residencies, and professional development programs.
