A mini-course consisting of two sessions on adaptation for repatriates will help make the adaptation process as comfortable as possible. During the classes, participants will receive recommendations on key aspects related to culture, bureaucracy and the labor market in Israel. The course will be held online on November 10 and 17.
This course is suitable for those who are just planning to move or have recently moved to
Israel.
You will learn how to make the adaptation process as comfortable as possible: we will talk
about the peculiarities of Israeli culture, bureaucracy and the labor market, discuss how to
join the local community while maintaining your cultural identity.
The classes are structured to help you develop an individual adaptation plan
and successfully integrate into Israeli life.
During the course, you will receive recommendations on key aspects:
How to confidently, quickly and effectively adapt.
How to learn Hebrew more effectively.
How to stay motivated and not lose your presence of mind when faced with
difficulties.
How to build relationships with others and feel “at home” in a new
environment.
How to find friends in Israel.
How to find places for emotional support and reboot.
How to learn to love Israel, even if everything seems foreign and difficult at the moment.
This course will give you the tools and skills to build a solid foundation for a successful
life in Israel, helping you overcome the difficulties that arise.
The course is taught by Sophia Gershman, a Master's student at Tel Aviv University, a specialist in
the field of global migration. Sophia is actively studying methods for the effective adaptation
of new immigrants to Israel and is ready to share her knowledge with the participants of the Gvahim course.
