A lecture-performance about Poland, on January 13, 2027, at 20:30, at 24 Giborei Sinai Street, Acre. Yoel Shatrug hosts the Klezmer Sounds.
The opening performance in the series: Yoel Shtrogg hosts “Klezmer Sounds” for a true musical celebration!
A virtual journey to Poland through Shtrogg’s camera lens, offering a glimpse into history and focusing on a revitalized Poland.
We will experience a different Poland—young and vibrant—with fascinating attractions: impressive fortresses, wooden churches, picturesque towns, enchanting cities, colorful markets, cafés, restaurants, pubs, wonderful jazz music, and, most importantly, an open and warm human landscape.
We will tour the city’s ancient streets: markets, street performances, and stylish cafés, alongside the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz, which is trying to revive the past with an abundance of “Jewish” restaurants and clubs featuring klezmer performances.
A lecture combining stories, photographs, and Polish music—from Chopin’s works to Polish jazz ensembles.
