Caesarea National Park - Classics on the Big Screen

During this Sukkot intermediate days, the ancient Roman Theater in Caesarea opens its gates for two days of magic, music, and nostalgia—with two timeless musical films we all grew up with, in an immersive cinematic experience under the night sky:

• Monday, September 28: Grease — the nostalgic and legendary rock ’n’ roll musical.
• Tuesday, September 29: Mamma Mia! — a rhythmic, joyful musical celebration featuring all of ABBA’s hits.

What awaits you

• 5:30 p.m. — Gates open and self-guided sunset stroll: arrive early, wander among the magnificent antiquities, and enjoy the magical sunset overlooking the sea.
• 5:30–7:30 p.m. — First sounds at the palace: During the evening stroll, a special harpist will be waiting for you at the palace on September 28, creating a regal atmosphere befitting Herod’s palace. On September 29, a musician with an array of instruments and plenty of cheer will be performing—bouzouki, harmonica, guitar, and more.
• 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. — Guided tours between the prison house and a one-of-a-kind sarcophagus.
• 7:45 p.m. — Screening at the Roman Theater: Enter the ancient theater, take your seats in front of the big screen, and enjoy an exciting musical experience you won’t want to stop singing along with!
