איפה את, מון אמור?

Wild Gallery מציגה תערוכה של שתי אמניות – אם ובת – רשל ידיד ועדן ידיד. בשנים 2024-2023, לאחר פרוץ הסכסוך בעזה, שירתה עדן במילואים כצלמת קרבית, בעוד רשל המשיכה את פעילותה האמנותית בסטודיו שלה בירושלים. בתערוכה מוצגות יצירות אמנות שיצרו השתיים במהלך תקופת הפרידה ביניהן.

רשל ידיד הינה ציירת ואמנית רב תחומית ישראלית-צרפתית המתגוררת בירושלים. ידיד נבחרה לאמנית השנה 2013 על ידי משרד החוץ הצרפתי, במטרה לפתח פרויקטים תרבותיים בין ישראל לצרפת. היא הציגה בשנת 2011 את התערוכה "פרלוד נשי" יחד עם ראידה אדון, ומאז הוצגו עבודותיה גם בתל- אביב, סינגפור ורומא. בשנת 2012 ייצגה את ישראל בתערוכה PROCHE במסגרת הסלון לאמנות עכשווית בגראן פאלה בפריז.

עדן ידיד הינה במאית וצלמת ישראלית מירושלים. עדן בוגרת מגמת הקולנוע בתיכון לאומנויות. היא מתעסקת בצילום אנלוגי וביצירת סרטונים עצמאיים דוקומנטריים. את שירותה הצבאי העבירה כמתעדת מבצעית (צלמת קרבית) ולקחה חלק בפעילויות מבצעיות, תרגילים ואירועים רשמיים. עדן הייתה מתעדת במילואים בתחילת מלחמת ״חרבות ברזל״ ותיעדה שני כוחות מילואים תוך כדי שהייה ממושכת בעזה. בשנת 2023 היא הציגה בתערוכת ״מאחורי הקליעים״ תערוכה שהציגה תצלומים של אנשי ואנשות מילואים שצילמו בזמן לחימה.

WHERE ARE YOU, MON AMOUR?

Wild Gallery presents an exhibition of two artists – mother and daughter – Rachel Yedid and Eden Yadid. In 2023–24, following the outbreak of the conflict in Gaza, Eden served in reserve as a combat photographer, while Rachel continued her artistic practice in her studio in Jerusalem. The exhibition features works created by both artists during the separation period.

Rachel Yedid is an Israeli-French painter and multidisciplinary artist residing in Jerusalem. In 2013, she was honored as Artist of the Year by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for fostering cultural projects between Israel and France. In 2011, she showcased the exhibition Women’s Prelude alongside Raida Adon, and since then, her works have been exhibited in Tel Aviv, Singapore, and Rome. In 2012, she represented Israel at the PROCHE exhibition as part of the Contemporary Art Salon at the Grand Palais in Paris.

Eden Yadid is an Israeli director and photographer from Jerusalem. Eden graduated from the Film Department at the High School of Arts. She works with analog photography and creates independent documentary films. She served her military service as a photographer and took part in the army activities. Eden served in reserve as a combat photographer from the beginning of the "Iron Swords" mission and documented two reserve forces during an extended stay in Gaza. In 2023, she exhibited at the "Behind the Scenes" exhibition, which displayed photographs of male and female reserve soldiers taken during combat.
