Chaya, a young Israeli dancer, has started a new life in Berlin that includes a successful career and a secret pregnancy. In Petah Tikva, her brother Netzach and her mother, Vicki, who has refused to speak to her for two years, remain. One day, Vicki unexpectedly arrives in Berlin to fulfill the unconventional will of her father, Chaya and Netzach's grandfather. The family quickly spirals into a whirlwind that humorously and painfully exposes their past and that of the Jews in Germany, along the way dragging in a young German ticket checker and a local museum director at the extermination site.
