"The Red Giselle"

In this work, Eifman tells the story of the legendary ballerina Olga Spessivtseva. Her performance in the ballet Giselle was one of the peaks of her career. Following various events in her life, she decided to emigrate from revolutionary Russia to the United States and find her place in the new world. But emigration did not treat her well, and she struggled with the demons that haunted her, eventually ending her life in a psychiatric institution.
