Pink Floyd – “ANIMALS” in Full, Performed by ECHOES

A celebratory show marking 50 years since the album’s release

To mark 50 years since the release of Animals, one of Pink Floyd’s boldest, darkest, and most powerful albums, the international tribute band ECHOES will present a festive, one-night-only performance at Tel Aviv Culture Hall.

At the center of the evening, ECHOES will perform Animals in its entirety. The second part of the show will feature Pink Floyd’s greatest and most beloved works from all periods.

Released in 1977, the album presented Pink Floyd at the height of its powers as a progressive rock band—sharp, critical, and uncompromising. Inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the album divides society into Dogs, Pigs, and Sheep, using them to explore power, class, greed, and alienation.

Musically, Animals is considered one of the most complex and beloved albums among Pink Floyd fans. The extended pieces “Dogs,” “Pigs,” and “Sheep,” along with “Pigs on the Wing,” combine incisive lyrics, stunning instrumental passages, and unforgettable guitar work that established the album as one of the peaks of the band’s classic era.

In this special performance, ECHOES will perform the album from beginning to end, with uncompromising fidelity to Pink Floyd’s original arrangements and sound. The second part of the evening will feature additional masterpieces from across the band’s career, including “Comfortably Numb,” “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Time,” “Another Brick in the Wall,” and more.

As with ECHOES’ major productions, this performance is expected to offer a powerful musical and visual experience, including unique video art, LED screens, and top-level lighting and sound production.

ECHOES, one of the world’s leading Pink Floyd tribute bands, has been performing in Israel and Europe for more than two decades. In recent years, the band has toured with large-scale productions of The Wall and The Dark Side of the Moon, earning widespread praise for its precision and ability to recreate Pink Floyd’s sound, atmosphere, and power. Over the course of its activity, the band has also collaborated with musicians who worked and performed with Roger Waters and David Gilmour.
