The Curious Group sets out on an expedition to investigate amazing phenomena and Guinness records. Participants become familiar with impressive architectural structures from history to the 20th century, including modern houses from Singapore. The workshop includes a creative activity with architect Shirley Gilat Robbins. The event is intended for children and youth aged 8 and up.
Group Meeting – Breaking the Routine
We’ll set out on a journey following the most amazing phenomena, explore crazy Guinness records, and discover the world’s greatest wonders.
We’ll find out what makes something “the most in the world,” and see how nature and humans achieve the unbelievable, push boundaries, and break records.

Marvelous Structures Accompany Human Development
Since the dawn of history, remarkable and intriguing buildings have accompanied humanity’s progress—starting from the first shelters we built for ourselves. Whenever we travel to new places, part of the trip is almost always devoted to encountering fascinating architecture. In various countries we meet structures considered world wonders, such as the Pyramids in Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, and more.
In this session we’ll explore wonderful and spectacular buildings from the twentieth century onward. We’ll spend extra time on contemporary construction and uniquely singular structures in Singapore, and wrap up with a short, especially creative hands‑on activity… with architect Shirley Gilat Robbins.
