Robi Aviziz – “Chalomot” (Dreams) Concert at Tel Aviv Culture Hall

Due to high demand, pianist and composer Robi Aviziz returns to the stage of the Tel Aviv Culture Hall with a new concert. Following his debut concert “Bereshit,” which sold out completely and led to a series of performances in Israel’s leading concert halls, Robi Aviziz launches “Chalomot” – a musical journey between reality and imagination.

Aviziz, the resident pianist of the National Theater “Habima” for the past four years, is one of the few young creators who both compose their works and perform them themselves on concert stages. At just 24 years old, he continues to establish a personal musical voice that blends classical tradition with original contemporary creation. The performance features the children’s choirs “Bat-Kol HaMechina veHaTzairah” and the veteran citizen ensemble “Lashir BeGil” of the Tel Aviv Conservatory, conducted by Dalia Lazar-Shimon.

In “Chalomot,” the work converges into the most personal space. New original compositions by Aviziz meet masterpieces from all eras in original, romantic, and virtuosic arrangements, creating a musical journey that moves between reality and imagination, nostalgia and longing, and memory and mystery. “Bereshit” marked the birth of a new musical language and culminated in a large-scale production that included a choir of 60 singers, a ballerina, tango dancers, and guest artists. In “Chalomot,” every note, every piece, and every story aims to take the audience to a place where one can close their eyes, listen, and dream.

With each new performance, Robi Aviziz succeeds in connecting the virtuosity of the pianist with the world of the composer, creating a personal, moving, and accessible musical experience for a broad audience.
