The concert version of “The Phantom of the Opera” will take place on November 11, 2026, at the Tel Aviv–Jaffa Music Center. Performed in the original language.
The famous The Phantom of the Opera will resound within the walls of the Tel Aviv Music House by the light of hundreds of candles.
The concert version of one of the most famous musicals in history will be performed by soloists from the Israeli Opera in the original language, accompanied by a string quintet and grand piano.
The Phantom of the Opera is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the novel of the same name by French writer Gaston Leroux. The show has been staged in 151 cities across 30 countries and seen by more than 150 million people. The story follows the talented singer Christine Daaé, who becomes the object of obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius. It is a story about the power of true love and how even the hardest heart can become kinder and gentler.
The concert at the Music House will give audiences the opportunity to experience the dark and beautiful story of the mystical “Angel of Music,” while hundreds of burning candles will create an extraordinary atmosphere. Talented musicians will recreate and bring to life the grotesque atmosphere of mid-19th-century Paris, where the novel’s tragic events unfold.
The concert features musicians from the Rishon LeZion Orchestra (the Israeli Opera Orchestra) and the Philharmonic Orchestra.
