A workshop for creating a personal botanical banner will take place on 23.10.2026 at Studio 125, 14 HaTehiyya Street, Tel Aviv-Yafo. No previous experience is required.
In the workshop, we will go through an abbreviated process of creating a work of art together—from observation and an initial sketch to creating a personal botanical banner on fabric. We will begin by experimenting with basic pencil-sketching techniques through observation. Each participant will choose a botanical object and create an initial drawing of it on paper. From there, we will move on to color: each participant will receive a piece of raw canvas fabric, on which we will use brushes and acrylic paints to create an original botanical work based on the drawing we made. At the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with a personal botanical banner they created themselves.
The workshop will take place in the TOMGROW showroom operating on the premises—a green space abundant with vegetation that will provide a particularly fitting setting for our botanical work.
Important to know: The workshop is suitable for teenagers and adults. The workshop lasts approximately an hour and a half and is limited to a group of up to approximately 20 participants. No previous drawing or painting experience is required. All materials are included, and it is recommended to wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.
The workshop takes place as part of OPEN PROCESS #2—on Friday, October 23, between 12:00 and 16:00.
An event open to the public at 14 HaTechiya Street, centered on the idea of an open process—encountering art and making while they are taking shape.
During the event, several work and creative spaces on the premises will open to the public; workshops and hands-on activities will take place; an installation will be built and develop in real time; and live performances and a jam session will take place throughout the event in the central plaza.
