Zuka Parpinian | One by One
A solo performance by Zuka Perfinian will take place on October 20, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. at the Inbal Dance Theatre in Tel Aviv. A journey to Afro-Brazilian rhythms.

Joca Perpignan, percussion master, singer, and composer born in Rio de Janeiro, with over 20 years of international musical activity.
Joca brings to the stage an exceptional command of the rich language of Afro-Brazilian rhythms, alongside influences from jazz, Africa, and the Middle East.
Throughout his career, he has performed and worked with musical giants from around the world,
including Paquito D’Rivera, João Donato, Armandinho Macedo, Beth Carvalho, Luciana Souza, Mayra Andrade, and Edmar Castañeda,
and in Israel with Idan Raichel, Matti Caspi, Yoni Rechter, Arik Einstein, and many others!
Joca is a former rhythm teacher at Mayumana, and lectures and conducts Brazilian rhythm workshops at international music institutions, including Berklee College of Music.
In his solo performance, Joca Perpignan takes audiences on a fascinating journey into the depths of the Afro-Brazilian groove through drums, vocals, and live looping.
