Sharon is a divorced pensioner in her sixties living in a quiet American town. She is passionate about cooking and harbors a bold, almost unrealistic dream of having a small garden right outside her window.
When Sharon begins looking for a neighbor, Robin bursts into her life—a flighty New York free spirit, a lesbian and vegan hiding more than one mysterious "skeleton" in her closet. Surprisingly, the fiery temperament of this new companion does not deter Sharon; on the contrary, she finds herself unexpectedly drawn into the whirlwind of Robin’s strange yet alluring world.
What began as simple, unremarkable neighborliness quickly turns into a risky adventure neither of them was prepared for. This sparkling, witty, touching, and genuinely vibrant duo won over the Broadway audience.
