Premiere screenings of 11 documentary shorts created by residents of Kfar Shalem. 13.10.2026 at 19:30 at Beit Barbur, Mami Hall, Tel Aviv.
What happens when neighborhood residents are invited to tell their personal stories in Kfar Shalem using the camera on their mobile phones?
Over the past few months, they wrote, filmed, researched, observed, and told their stories—and now the time has come to see the results on the big screen.
After a meaningful process led by documentary filmmaker and facilitator Yuli Cohen, we are delighted to invite you to the premiere screenings of eleven videos created in the neighborhood and by its residents.
The eleven videos were created by Ahuva Ratzon, Alon Miron, Emily Shir Segal, Eti Gilboa, Diana Ahdut Leibner, Linda Dahari, Larisa Levin, Soli Hoshiyar David, Flora Malinash, Revital Miron, and Sarit Aznarut Adani.
13.10 | Tuesday | 19:30 | Mami Hall | Beit Barbur
Come see Kfar Shalem as you have never known it before.
Admission is free with advance registration.
As part of “Kfar Shalem Through the Lens,” a group of neighborhood residents embarked on a journey of creativity, filming, and observation in the neighborhood. Following a process of twelve sessions, 11 documentary videos were created—through the personal stories, people, places, and moments that make up everyday life.
This is an opportunity to peek into the shared space through a personal, intimate story and move between works spanning a past, present, and future shared by everyone.
