Moshe Giat rose to prominence in the early 1980s and has since built an illustrious career, including more than 20 albums and hits that have become an integral part of Israeli music. Born in the Hatikva neighborhood, Giat was the first singer of Yemeni origin to be accepted for service in the IDF Rabbinical Choir. After his military service, he continued studying music and later released the hit “Nora Nora,” which achieved great success and launched him into the public spotlight.

Over the years, Giat developed a unique style that combines traditional Yemenite singing, Mediterranean music, songs of Middle Eastern Jewish communities, Hasidic music, piyyutim, and Yiddish songs—a rich musical fusion that speaks to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
