Darya Musenzon’s solo show on October 10, 2026, at AMAMA in Tel Aviv. Original music, 1960s Moroccan pop, and an encounter with classical music.
Darya Mosenzon presents a new solo show featuring original music from contemporary Tel Aviv alongside Moroccan pop from the 1960s—a head-on collision between North African pop-rock and classical music.
Darya Mosenzon is a pianist whose work emerges from the worlds of North African music. Her musical journey has taken her from her roots in classical music through jazz and into an exploration of the culture and music of Algeria and Morocco, where she fell in love with Andalusian music. Darya performs with Andalusian orchestras and with her ensemble in Israel and around the world, collaborating with artists such as Raymonde Abecassis, Neta Elkayam, Liraz Charhi, and others. With bold elegance, Darya presents a young, contemporary voice well versed in musical traditions, creating new original music through their language.
