Qigong class on Zoom with Zohar Wilson, for beginners and all levels. Breathing exercises, moving meditation, and body movement.
Interested in trying Qigong classes? What exactly is Qigong?
Qigong is the movement-based component of Chinese medicine, combining deep breathing practices with moving meditation. The practice develops physical abilities, as well as listening and observation skills.
You are invited to come to a practical class for moving the body and making proper use of the wonderful tool with which we have been blessed.
Movement and Qigong classes for beginners, the curious, people with or without experience, those who feel wonderful in their bodies and those who feel challenged by them, or who think they have two left hands (you are invited to discover that you actually have abilities that have been hidden until now). Everyone is welcome.
“I want to share with you the miracle that happened to me as a result of Qigong classes with Zohar. Many years ago, I stopped studying piano in my second year at the Academy of Music in Jerusalem because of severe pain in my forearms. The medical diagnosis was ‘tennis elbow’—severe pain along the forearm, between the wrist and the elbow, a condition that develops among tennis players and also among those who use their arm and finger muscles intensively and repetitively.
For many years I did not play at all because of the condition, and whenever I occasionally tried to play, I stopped immediately because of the severe pain in my forearms. When I began studying Qigong with Zohar, I greatly enjoyed the hand and finger exercises and practiced them at home for my own pleasure. Once, after practicing, I approached the piano and began to play. To my astonishment, the pain had disappeared as if it had never existed. I played without feeling any pain. Since that day, I have returned to playing the piano. Whenever pain begins to surface, I immediately practice Zohar’s hand exercises and the pain goes away.
There is no doubt that in this case Qigong acted like a miracle cure and a great gift, restoring my joy of playing. Another discovery: the Qigong exercises I learned from Zohar also helped me relieve joint pain in my hand caused by extensive typing. When I feel joint pain in my hand after hours of working at a computer, I take a break and practice the hand exercises I learned from Zohar in Qigong, and the pain is released.”

“Practicing with Zohar has become an inseparable part of my weekly schedule. The experience begins with arriving at the magical courtyard, whose atmosphere gives me the feeling that I have reached an ‘island of sanity’ amid all the chaos happening outside.
For an hour, I give my body an energetic flow while listening to my breathing and internal organs, and of course also becoming aware of and paying attention to all parts of my body. I greatly enjoy the variety in the practice and Zohar’s clear and lucid explanations of complex coordination exercises, which he simplifies and which very quickly become a pleasant flow.
I leave every practice charged with positive energy and great joy, which wonderfully affects both body and mind. I am therefore deeply grateful to Zohar, who, in addition to Qigong, incorporates his extensive knowledge in many fields—dance, yoga, nutrition, and more. An experience with added value. Highly recommended!”
