A wine, food, and history tour through the streets of Florentin in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. We will walk among the street art, taste a variety of foods, and learn the stories of the neighborhood.
Join us for an especially indulgent nighttime food tour in Tel Aviv’s backyard—Florentin. Between sips of wine, we’ll walk through the neighborhood’s decorated streets, discuss its flourishing street art, stroll through the districts of hipsters and artists, and talk about the neighborhood’s location, the transformations it has undergone, and the future approaching. And of course, we’ll eat especially delicious and indulgent food! As befits the hour, we’ll visit all the places you simply must not miss: indulgent pastries with a Yemenite aroma, pizza that will send you to Italy, some Mexican munchies, special crêpes with a French twist, and we’ll finish at one of the best ice cream parlors in the world. We’ll learn where these places came from and who put them on the map, touch along the way on the legend of Bialik that became a street, and talk about the underground fighters who operated in the neighborhood.
In short, it will be fun, interesting, beautiful, and above all, delicious. So come hungry!
The tour is subject to registration of a minimum of 6 participants.
