About Our Speakers:

Brigadier General (ret.) Ofer Winter was a senior officer in the Israel Defense

Forces who served for 34 years in various combat and command roles. Throughout

his extensive military career, Winter held several prominent positions. He

served as the commander of 98th Paratroopers Division, the military secretary to

the Israeli Minister of Defense, the Chief of Staff of Central Command, the

commander of the Givati Brigade, the commander of the Northern Brigade in the

Gaza Strip, the commander of the 646 Brigade, the commander of the Duvdevan

Unit, and the commander of the Givati Reconnaissance Battalion. Ofer also spent

two years living in the USA as the IDF's liaison to the US Army Marines. His

service record is characterized by his leadership in multiple conflicts,

including significant involvement during the 2014 Gaza War, where he gained

national attention for his operational directives and subsequent public debate

regarding military conduct and command philosophy.

In May 2024, Winter was formally released from the IDF. Since transitioning to

civilian life, Winter has entered Israeli politics establishing a new political

party, Amcha Yisrael (People Of Israel), aimed at addressing the strategic

outcomes of recent conflicts and advocating for his vision of national security.

Ofer lives in Mitzpe Netofa and is married to his wife, Revital, with whom he

has eight children.

Yoseph Haddad is an Israeli-Arab public diplomacy activist and the founder and

former CEO of Together – Vouch for Each Other, an organization dedicated to

strengthening the integration of Arab Israelis into Israeli society. In 2026,

Haddad announced his candidacy as No. 2 on the Amcha Yisrael list, led by Ofer

Winter, and is slated to serve as Minister of Public Diplomacy.

Fleur Hassan-Nahom is an Israeli politician, diplomat, and former Jerusalem city

council member and Deputy Mayor (2016–2024). She currently serves as Israel’s

Special Envoy for Trade and Innovation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In

2026, Hassan-Nahoum announced her candidacy for the 26th Knesset as part of the

Amcha Yisrael list.
