Who Saves the Animals Left Behind?

To mark three years since October 7, DigiDog Club invites the community of animal lovers to a special, heartfelt evening featuring an extraordinary story of courage, commitment, and love for animals.

Dr. Galia Melman Shalev, a veterinarian from the Gaza border region, will give an exclusive lecture in which she will share her personal story and her decision to remain in the field and rescue animals from evacuated communities and combat zones on October 7 and in the days that followed.

For her work on behalf of animals, Galia was selected to receive the WSAVA Global Animal Welfare Award 2026—an international award presented for an exceptional contribution to animal welfare.
