A new, colorful and funny stage adaptation of Ephraim Sidon’s book, written by Sidon himself.
An imaginative and humorous performance based on Ephraim Sidon’s beloved and well-known book. It tells the story of two brothers who, following a foolish argument, transform from loving siblings into enemies and build a wall between them so they will not encounter one another.
Over the generations, their sons and grandsons nurture a terrible fear of the people living on the other side of the wall. They refuse to reconcile, ask questions or investigate, and gradually turn their “rivals” from human beings into monsters.
Thus, the rivalry—and with it the fear—continues to grow, until a small child asks to see what lies beyond the wall.
A witty play about prejudice, attitudes toward others, and the unwillingness to accept those who think differently from us.
Playwright: Ephraim Sidon
Director: Yael Tilman
Cast: Bar Cohen / Nufar Eliyahu, Harel Morad / Eran Lachman
