In a world where children and teenagers are measured by likes and followers while seeking belonging and success, an important moment becomes a glittering show.
Four friends embark on a coming-of-age journey that shakes their friendship.
Through their connection, the image of the dragonfly emerges.
It begins its journey as an egg, becomes a larva, and only when it is mature
does it spread its wings and emerge into the light.
The image becomes a metaphor for the bar and bat mitzvah age and a symbol of inner maturation.
Out of the crisis, the friends create a different celebration together—brave and honest, one that is born from the heart.
The play was written in memory of Mai Naim Sharaf, may her memory be a blessing, who was taken from us at the Nova festival.
A contemporary, moving play about the courage to be who I am, to see the other,
and, like the dragonfly, to spread our wings at our own pace.
