Volunteering with the Shekel Association on Friday, September 25, at Hayarkon Park. Meet at 8:30 at the Antakara Center in Tel Aviv and finish with a picnic.
Looking for a special way to start Friday?
We know one that will leave you smiling long after it’s over🙂
Join us for volunteering with Shekel, an organization that has been working for more than 40 years to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities in the community.
During the morning, we’ll meet about 20 wonderful people aged 20–40, some of whom require nursing care and others who have Down syndrome, autism, or physical and intellectual disabilities. Together, we’ll wrap up the summer with an enjoyable activity in Hayarkon Park, filled with joy, fun, and lots of positive energy!
You volunteer in order to give, but some volunteer opportunities remind us how much we can receive as well—and this is definitely one of them❤️
📍 We’ll meet on Friday, 25 September, at 8:30 a.m. at the Antakarana Center
(29 Yitzhak Sadeh Street, Tel Aviv), and from there we’ll travel together to Shekel in Ramat HaHayal.
We’ll finish with a fun shared picnic. We’d be happy if you brought a vegan snack to share 🌱
We look forward to seeing you with us!
Estimated finish time: 12:00 p.m.
As part of the preparations for the volunteer activity, we would appreciate it if you filled out the following form, which includes personal and insurance details. All the information you provide will be kept fully secure and used solely to provide insurance coverage.
*Due to the nature of the activity, participation is open to those aged 18 and over.
