Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

A stage adaptation of the cult film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The musical follows an especially colorful group—three drag queens who set out in a pink bus they call “Priscilla” on a funny and moving journey to perform a drag show at the edge of the world.

This is a story about a father’s love for his son, unwavering friendship, and celebrating the individual’s right to live in freedom and fulfill themselves. Accompanied by a dreamlike soundtrack of timeless pop and disco hits, spectacular costumes, and a message of openness, inclusion, and acceptance.

A dazzling and spectacular production featuring dozens of actors, dancers, singers, musicians, and drag queens. Giant sets and hundreds of costumes and wigs come together in a musical production unlike anything ever seen on the Israeli theater stage.

Recommended for ages 14 and up.

An additional fee of 85 NIS applies to each subscription ticket for the 2015/2016 season.
