Hantz and Franz, two Nazi soldiers, are stuck in a forest waiting for a train that keeps being delayed. An encounter with a Jewish prisoner who insists that he is a duck leads to a series of absurd and surprising events. A wild comedy about people, traumas, and the ability to remain human in strange places.
Huntz and Franz, two Nazi soldiers, are stranded in the middle of the forest, waiting for a train that is supposed to arrive in ten minutes. There’s just one problem: it has been “due in ten minutes” for hours.
From there, everything gets complicated: Eurovision, diamonds, Sigmund Freud, joints from Berlin, Ofra Haza, a book burning that spirals out of control, magic mushrooms, high-school traumas, and one Jewish prisoner who insists that he is actually... a duck.
The Duck is a wild, hilarious, and surprising comedy that proves that even in the strangest places, people can simply be people. Or ducks. And sometimes, that’s the funniest thing in the world.
