Avigail Shaprir is a choreographer, dancer, and gag teacher—one of the most prominent creators of the new generation of Israeli dance. After years as a dancer with the Fresco company and the Bat Sheva Ensemble, she developed a unique artistic voice that moves between dance and theater, blending humor, vulnerability, and rich imagery. Shaprir is an exceptional storyteller, a creator who can conjure on stage worlds that carry the magic of fairy tales while simultaneously revealing deep human truth.
Her work has received support from the Rabinowitz Fund, the PIS Council for Culture and the Arts, and the Intimadance Festival.
