Course Overview
Within the course we will go on tours of nature sites in the city and discover magical nature corners near home. We will become familiar with the various habitats that attract a wide variety of birds and wildlife to the city. We will learn about the different species and observe up close amazing natural phenomena such as migration, courtship, communication, nesting, raising offspring, invasive species, predators and prey, and more.
Besides the extensive knowledge gained in the course, spending time in nature helps quiet the background noise of the city and life’s pressures, contributing to calm and mental tranquility.
