The Fountainhead
King Vidor’s adaptation of Ayn Rand’s neo-Nietzschean philosophical novel about the individualistic path of an architect with revolutionary ideas and his repeated clashes with his surroundings. And, of course, there is also a larger-than-life love story. Beautiful black-and-white cinematography by Robert Burks.
