Workshop "Rosh Hashanah Cards"

Participants will create three 3D Rosh Hashanah cards featuring a pomegranate, an apple, and honey under the guidance of artist Inna Gorokhod. During the workshop, they will be able to draw, cut, and glue, as well as learn more about the holiday’s traditions. All materials are provided, and participants will take their completed cards home with them.

Rosh Hashanah is just around the corner, which means it’s time to prepare gifts and greetings for family and friends! 🎁
Did you know that sending greeting cards for Rosh Hashanah is a long-standing Jewish tradition? 💌 Such cards became especially popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They featured the greeting “Shana Tova”—a good year—and depicted apples and honey, pomegranates, the shofar, and other holiday symbols.
We invite you to continue this beautiful tradition and make festive cards by hand! ✂️🎨
Under the guidance of artist Inna Gorokhod, we will create three 3D cards using different techniques:
We will draw, cut, glue, come up with our own designs, and, of course, talk a little about the traditions and symbols of Rosh Hashanah.
🙌 We will provide all the necessary materials. You’ll take the finished cards home and can give them to anyone you’d like to wish a happy upcoming New Year 💌
