About Our Speaker: Yair Golan
The Chairman of The Democrats Party, Major General (res.) Yair Golan, served 38
years in the Israel Defense Forces and was discharged as the IDF’s Deputy Chief
of General Staff. Yair formerly served as Member of Knesset and served as the
Deputy Minister of Economy. In the past year, he united the Labor and Meretz
liberal parties creating The Democrats and can be followed in English:
