Streamlining processes

Psychologist Reuven Klein suffers from memory lapses that interfere with his ability to concentrate on his work. But he must keep working. Three anxious patients who are connected to one another find themselves in his clinic: a woman suffering from panic attacks, her partner who works nonstop on a Japanese robot, and the new neighbor who has entered their lives and is convinced that people are breaking into her apartment.

Dr. Klein begins to lose his grip on reality and can no longer distinguish between the patients. His reality and that of the patients become intermingled and distorted, and chaos takes over. Dr. Klein must now navigate a maze of confusion in order to preserve his identity as a psychologist; if he fails, he may endanger the fragile lives of his patients.

Everything becomes even more difficult when all three patients are onstage simultaneously and he does not quite know who is saying what.

This is the new play by playwright Roi Maliah-Reshef. The play is influenced by chaos theory, solar mechanics, and the world of the writer Haruki Murakami. It holds up a mirror to the human vulnerability and inner anxiety within us all.
