A band that came together by chance in south Tel Aviv, during a random meeting in a park between Yosef Martel and Sharli Sabah.
Yosef is a songwriter and composer who came from Darfur. Sharli is a local musician, performer, singer, and composer.
Yosef’s songs, which are very well known among the Darfuri community, get people moving and dancing. Their themes include longing for family, love, and community.
An evening of Sudanese music, keyboards, a jukebox, mandolin, and memories from the hot continent.
