A nature, history, and heritage tour from Elijah’s Cave to Caesarea, on August 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM, departing from the Ramat Chen Community Center.
We will set out on a journey through nature, history, and heritage, connecting the story of Elijah the Prophet on Mount Carmel with the magnificent Caesarea of the Second Temple period.
🌄 Viewpoint from the Carmel Summit
We will begin the tour with an impressive view of Mount Carmel and its coast.
🌿 Elijah the Prophet’s Cave
We will descend through the natural woodland to the cave and learn about Elijah the Prophet and the story of his deeds on Mount Carmel.
🏛️ Caesarea National Park
We will continue to the magnificent port city built by Herod, learn about Caesarea during the Second Temple period, and hear about the events that led to the outbreak of the Great Revolt.

The shuttle’s departure from the community center is conditional on registration by the minimum number of participants required.
The tour is intended for adults aged 18 and over only. Children and teenagers cannot be registered for the tour.
