Poetry Workshop | Adi Kisar During the workshop, we will think of writing as an attempt at self-definition, as a possibility for dialogue with the world, and as a renewed encounter with language. In the sessions, we will practice poetry writing, analyze works, and experiment with editing. Adi Kisar is a poet and founder of "Ars Poetica". Her first book "Black on Black" won the Bernstein Prize for Literature. She has published four books
Throughout the workshop, we will reflect on the act of writing as an attempt at self-definition, an opportunity for dialogue with the world, and a renewed encounter with language. During the sessions, we will practice poetry writing, analyze literary works, and experiment with text editing.
Instructor Biography
Adi Keisar is a poet and founder of the Ers Poetica collective. Her debut collection, Black on Black, won the Bernstein Prize for Literature. To date, she has published four poetry collections and a children's book. She is the recipient of the Mayor of Rishon LeZion Award for Creativity in the Hebrew Language, named after Meir Ariel. Her poems have been set to music, translated into numerous languages, and published in various anthologies and periodicals both nationally and internationally.
