Join an immersive and sensitive play about emotions tailored for children entering first grade and their families. The children will be introduced to the story of "My Fear's Slippers," learn how emotions are a natural part of change, and create their own personal slippers. The workshop is led by Danit Levi Ammar, a drama therapist and creator of the method.
First Graders with Slipper Language
In an experiential and sensitive meeting using the "Slipper Language" method, children will encounter the story "My Fear Slipper" and discover how emotions such as fear, worry, and excitement are a natural part of every change and transition. After the story, the children will create their own personal slipper.
We give space to fears and feelings that arise before starting first grade, collecting strengths, expectations, and excitement for the new beginning into the slipper.
