Coffee meeting for those who gave birth in the past year, where mothers discuss the challenges of early parenting. Experiences, tips, and tools are shared for a renewed return. Participation is free, but registration is required in advance.
Pregnancy, Birth, and New Motherhood bring beautiful moments filled with many positive emotions and joy, but also fears, confusion, and fatigue. How many times have you thought about yourself and what you need since giving birth? How frustrating and hard it can be to feel sadness and raise our voice when everyone around us is excited and happy for us.
In a safe and pleasant discussion we’ll talk about topics that aren’t always easy to open up, and we’ll hear other mothers dealing with the same reality. For example, we’ll dive into the difficulty of nursing/feeding, distance from a partner, fear of the new responsibility, and the loneliness that often appears after birth.
During the session you’ll receive practical tips and tools so you can return home with renewed strength and meet the challenges of caring for a tiny baby—whether it’s your first, second, third, or fourth child.
The workshop will be led by Spir Gurli Himov, a neighborhood resident, emotional support guide for women and mothers before and after birth, holder of an M.A. in Therapy from Bar‑Ilan University, and mother of twins Sha’u and Alma :)
You may bring infants up to crawling stage.
The meeting is free of charge; registration in advance is required.
