Plant Identification Workshop and Urban Nature Tour

The workshop is conducted by the museum's educational team and includes discussion, exploration, and collaborative creation. Participants will learn about urban nature and create personal plant guides. The workshop is suitable for the whole family, especially for ages 6-12.

How has urban nature changed over the years?
What would animals demand from the urban environment if they could speak?
How does the city influence nature - and maybe the opposite as well?
In a creative workshop for the whole family at the City Museum, we will create personal and colorful plant guides that showcase the nature always surrounding us. We will select plants collected from Meir Garden and Bialik Square, classify, glue, draw, and write – about flowers, leaves, trees, and shrubs, and create together a personal keepsake that connects urban nature with our personal stories in the city.
