The International Light Festival returns to Tel Aviv Port with new exhibits from the world of fantasy.
The International Festival of Lights, one of the largest and most beloved summer events in Israel, returns in August to Tel Aviv Port with new displays, and the public is invited to enjoy a stunning visual experience of light, color, and imagination for free.
The festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year like moths to a flame: families with children, couples, young adults and seniors, photography enthusiasts, and tourists, all coming to enjoy a breathtaking display in the unique port atmosphere by the sea and the sound of the waves.
The light installations were specially commissioned for Tel Aviv Port and created by international artists using traditional techniques alongside innovative lighting technology in stunning colors.
The entire festival is illuminated by over 30,000 LED lights with green energy consumption.
What awaits visitors at the Lights Festival Fantasia?
For three weeks, from August 4 to 23, the festival will present eight giant illuminated zones, featuring dozens of enchanting displays rising up to 10 meters high and up to 32 meters long.
In the Butterfly Forest, visitors will walk along a 32-meter-long promenade under a ceiling of glowing butterflies swirling with the evening sky.
Alice's Wonderland weaves a path of mushrooms at heights of 1-2.6 meters: white "moon" mushrooms speckled with mint green and lilac purple, with a dreamy caterpillar smoking a hookah among them.
The Wonderful Kingdom features a pink castle with blue turrets (5 meters tall) inside which fairies flutter between illuminating butterflies and mushrooms.
Not far away, the winged unicorn springs to life – a white Pegasus 3 meters tall spreading ice-like wings above a canyon of pink, blue, and purple light crystals.
The Prehistoric World brings imagination back to the age of dinosaurs with a giant (6 meters) Tyrannosaurus Rex and a pair of glowing (5 meters) Velociraptors in neon lights.
The Ice Creatures World displays a 5-meter tall human tree, a winged ice deer (2.3 meters), and more crystal creatures glowing in blue-white light that freeze the imagination.
The Candy World "grows" colorful lollipop candies from the branches of a giant candy tree (3.5 meters), cupcake trees, and illuminating sugar-crystal rocks.
The Enchanted Galaxy showcases a lit solar system above a carpet of blue LED lights simulating a starry night sky; giant planets, a shimmering Saturn ring, and a metallic moon give the feeling of walking in space. Thus, visitors journey from one fairy tale to another – a stunning experience of light, color, and imagination.
