Lecture by Motl Gordon on Talmudic pedagogy as it applies to modern education.
The Guild, a community of educators, invites you to a lecture by Motl Gordon on January 26, “Talmudic Pedagogy: Jewish Sages as Jedi of Modern Education.”
Rabbi Motl Gordon, a resident of Jerusalem, co-founder of the Hopescrolling Telegram channel, whose goal is to support Israelis during this difficult time. He speaks Yiddish and sometimes even sings. He is a Talmud teacher. At our meeting, he will tell us what we, as educators, can learn from the world of ancient Jewish wisdom.
As always, our community meeting will begin with an informal and comfortable cocktail networking, delicious food and wine.
We came up with the Guild to hang out with those you want to hang out with. We want to do education together, that is, think, dream, build, be surprised, invent, be indignant, ask questions, learn, complain, be inspired. The key word is TOGETHER. Our meetings are held once a month, stay tuned!
Networking will start at 18:15, be sure to come!
The project is supported by the Nadav Foundation.
