Shira, a young newly observant woman just a few weeks after giving birth to her first son, comes to the community’s female rabbi with an unbelievable claim: her husband has been replaced.

From the outside, he looks exactly the same—but she is convinced that he is not the man she married. The rabbanit believes this is a psychological breakdown following the birth, while the rabbi believes it is a passing spiritual crisis.

My One and Only is an Israeli multi-character mystery drama exploring the changes we undergo within relationships and the disturbing question: Does the person closest to us remain the same person over the years—or do we all change and become someone else again and again?
