A free-form comedy.
Five actors from the Khan Theatre entered the rehearsal room and, through a unique creative process, brought their grandmothers to theatrical life. The result is a group of grandmothers living together in assisted housing, accompanied by a registered nurse who joins them in song and dance.
Thus was born a play that pays tribute to the older generation, and especially to their lives—full of passions, fears, and stories. The play reveals a glimpse into the world of our grandfathers and grandmothers, who have recently experienced isolation and social distancing, and sheds a painful, moving, funny, and above all nostalgic light on our relationships with them.
