Few poets have left their mark with the power and emotion of the poet Rachel Bluwstein—known to us all simply as “Rachel”—who has touched hearts across generations.
The musical drama Will You Hear My Voice brings to the stage, for the first time, the life story and loves of the national poet. Through raw emotion, moving words, and heart-stirring song, it unfolds as a gripping and moving drama that brings tears to the eyes and touches the deepest strings of the soul.
The performance incorporates many of her poems: “Will You Hear My Voice,” “Uri,” “A Locked Garden,” “There Are the Golan Mountains,” “I Did Not Sing to You, My Country,” “Only About Myself,” “A Meeting, Half a Meeting,” “Kinneret,” and more.
