A groundbreaking festive performance journeying from Baroque Europe to poetic Yemen.
The Israeli Plucked-String Orchestra, together with the Yama Yemen Ensemble, invites you on a musical journey across worlds, cultures, and eras—from the Baroque era of Johann Sebastian Bach to the depth and power of the poetry of Rabbi Shalom Shabazi.
In this moving performance, the sounds of the classical mandolin meet Eastern rhythms and traditional Yemenite music in contemporary arrangements that breathe new life into an ancient heritage.
Special guest: Zion Golan—one of the great voices of Yemenite music.
