A musical journey among the great creators who shaped the Israeli soundscape—from Moshe Wilensky and Sasha Argov, through Yoni Rechter and Danny Sanderson, to Idan Raichel and contemporary creators.
Alongside them, we will turn our attention to Broadway and the rich tradition of American musicals, which gave the world some of the most beloved songs and melodies of the 20th century.
We will learn about the stories, creators, and styles behind the songs and discover how music born onstage or as part of local culture becomes, over the years, a classic that transcends generations, borders, and languages.

20:00–21:15 | A Festive and Sweeping Evening Concert
The concert will bring together the finest classics of Hebrew song by Sasha Argov, Moshe Wilensky, Yoni Rechter, Danny Sanderson, Idan Raichel, and others, alongside major songs from the musicals The Sound of Music, The King and I, Show Boat, My Fair Lady, West Side Story, and more.
The songs will be performed in original symphonic arrangements written especially for the evening by students in the Composition and Screen and Stage Arranging program at Ono Music—a meeting between familiar classics and a new generation of creators and arrangers.
